At least we're popular in one place on campus
According to the New York Times , Jewish Studies programmes are enjoying unprecedented success in American universities -- amongst non-Jews (although it doesn't give very precise figures). Some are motivated, says the article, by curiosity about other cultures, and particularly by the successful Jewish immigration experience. Others are Christians wanting to find out more about the Judaic roots of their religion; yet others are curious because they've come across anti-Semitism.
