Editor and Publisher is
reporting that the
NYT is completely redesigning its website (and the
Washington Post preparing to make smaller changes) to take into account the fact that many people now no longer reach their articles through their home page, thanks, in the main, to blogs.
[I]t's no surprise that many editors of newspaper Web sites are looking at how to effectively integrate blogs into their content offerings — and how to capitalize on the readership outside blogs often send to articles and features posted on newspaper sites.
And in related news,
Nushyman (technically, Nushywoman) says she has it
it on good authority that The Jerusalem Post website is thinking of starting a Jrants type blog page, hopefully they will also do a feature on a different blog each week. I heard they may also feature other sites of interest, like Palestinian blogs.
Why don't they just start their own blog/s, a la
The Forward or the
WSJ? Or do you have to be
an ex-
JPost employee to want to blog?
