The Kabbalah Center is raising 'tens of thousands of dollars' -- and perhaps as much as $1m. -- to ship trendy Kabbalah water to South East Asia.
I think a clarification is in order. Other organizations have donated money/items and sent them through recognised and experienced international relief organisations, as three US presidents (past and present) have urged. Is all this money, irresponsibly, going towards the shipment costs? Or could it really be that the Kabbalah center guys are raising money to pay for their own products, thereby increasing their own income on the backs of the victims of this human tragedy?
Alas, it's not entirely impossible.
